Fantastic Fan Lift Motor Replacement

Question:

I have a 2004 American Coach Eagle and need to replace the lift motor mechanism in a Fantastic Fan. The fan has the manual/auto lift mechanism in the corner, has an on/off switch, and a speed or. I do not know the model number. Will the 17 rpm lift motor work or am I restricted to the 7 rpm motor assembly? I need the unit in off white.

You aren't restricted here the Replacement 17-rpm Lift Motor for Fan-Tastic Vent part # FVK6010-80 version will work out great for you as long as you reverse the wires when hooking it up. Here is a note about that from them.

"If your fan is of a lower rpm or manufactured before 2014, this motor will still work, but you will need to cross the wires. For example, instead of red to red and black to black, you will need to connect the red wire to the black wire and the the black wire to the red wire"

So as you can see reverse the wires and you will be set and ready to go.
