Replacing A Dometic RV Air Conditioner System With An Advent Air RV Air Conditioner

Question:
I bought an Advent ACM150 to replace our old Duo-Therm 620426.321 on our Monaco Monarch RV, the old unit had been hard wired, so what do I need so we can complete the replacement?

Hi Debbie,
Your order history shows you purchased a complete system (condenser unit, air distribution box, and thermostat # ADV64FR. Are you installing this or are your connecting the # ACM150 (condenser unit) to a Dometic controller? If you're replacing the entire system then you'll have factory wiring to connect the new controller to.
If you're just replacing a rooftop condenser unit and need to connect to your Dometic controller then you'll have to cut the connector off of the # ACM150 and hardwire to your Dometic system. You'll want to reach out to Dometic for a wiring diagram so you can match it up to wire functions of the # ACM150.
