would i have TO UPGRADE __ONLY__ my battery cables if I went from a 35 amp to a 45 amp converter. ALSO How long would it take to charge two 100 amp batteries in parallel with a 35 amp converter or a 45 amp

Hi Ron,
Yes, you most likely have a 8 gauge wire which is rated for up to 40 amps so you'd need to go 6 gauge wire. The rating is per hour so two 100 amp hour batteries in parallel would be 200 amp hours divided by 35 or 45, depending on the size you went with, so you'd be looking at roughly 5 hours to charge the battery bank.
