Question:
Hello, I have a 2001 Aliner expedition, I am not positive on the axle rating however it may be 3500 axle. I am inquiring about having the entire electric brakes replaced, new mounting plate with the brake shoes already mounted and new matching drums. I have 3 inch mounting studs for the brake plate assembly, I measured from center to center of the 4 studs. Thank you for your assistance, Bob also I appreciate as much info as possible for this project.

Hey Bob, thanks for the information! I've got a couple of options for replacement brake assemblies for your 2001 Aliner Expedition Camper but I am going to need you to take a measurement of your hub to determine which one you'll need. I need you to measure the depth of your hub. I have linked a diagram below that will show you exactly where to find it. It'll either be 2-1/4" wide or 1-1/2" wide. The corresponding brake assemblies you will need are listed below:
1-1/2" wide - Dexter Electric Trailer Brakes item # K23-472-473-00
2-1/4" wide - etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes item # AKEBRK-35-SA
I have linked a couple of installation videos below that will show you how to get these brakes set up.
