Question:
Good day, I have a Lippert model 198641 stabilizer manual/remote system and the jacks will not extend or retract using either the remote or button on the trailer. However they do work correctly using the manual crank system. The motor turns strong but the spindle does not engage under power. Any ideas would be appreciated since we are on a 3 month trip. Thank you in advance

Hey Jeff, so we do have the replacement motor for your 198641 setup with the part # LC138445 which is possibly your problem but I would check with a circuit tester liker part # PTW2993 to see if voltage is getting to the motor when the switches are used to verify for sure the problem is the motor. Since both switches you tried aren't working I would assume it is the motor though.

Thank you Jameson, The motor engages and you can hear it turn but the spindle does not turn. Would this not mean the motor is working and there may be a disconnect between the motor and the spindle assembly?
