Question:

I need part numbers for inner and outer bearings and seal for a tapered spindle. Seal measurement is 2-1/8”. Inner bearing measurement is 1-3/4” and outer bearing measurement is 1-1/8”. Please help! This came off a boat trailer with a 6 lug pattern hub.

Hello Hunter, thanks for reaching out. We do have the # 25580 bearing which has a 1.750" ID. We do not offer a bearing with a 1-1/8" ID though, so it sounds like you are dealing with an uncommon size. Is there another hub on this trailer that still has the bearings? If so, I would pull the bearings and clean them up to see if you can read the number off of each one. Even then, a 1.125" ID bearing is not a common size, and bearings or hubs may prove hard to find. In this case I suggest replacing the spindle with something more standard, or replacing the axle entirely since installing spindles can be tricky.

Hey Hunter, did you end up finding the bearing numbers on the other hub or decide to go with a new spindle or axle instead? Knowing what worked might help others dealing with the same uncommon bearing size.
