We have a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sport S and need a towing system. Looking at Roadmaster and Blue Ox. We need tow bar non - binding, base plate and brake light kit. Barking system. Thank you

Hey Ron,
For A 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sport S I have the following recommendations:
Baseplate: Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-521453-5.
Tow Bar: etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar # e74ZR. This tow bar includes safety cables and comes with a built in rise/drop to help keep the tow bar level between the motorhome and Wrangler to avoid having to purchase a high/low adapter.
Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This diode kit will transfer your motorhome's light signals to tail lights of the Wrangler. If you have ParkSense Proximity Sensors then you'll need part # RM63MR instead.
Braking System: If your motorhome has hydraulic brakes then you'll want the Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo # SM99251. This system will need to tap into the brake light switch in your Wrangler, which isn't useable so you would need install a Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751490 to provide the signal.
If your motorhome has air brakes then you'll want to go with the Demco Air Force One # SM99243 instead and wouldn't need a stop light switch kit.

Hey Ron, how did the setup with the Roadmaster base plate and etrailer SD tow bar work out for your Wrangler? Your update could make it easier for the next person setting up a similar towing system.
