Can Start Capacitor for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners Be Installed Later
Updated 02/17/2026 | Published 06/12/2024 >
Question:
I purchased the ACM150 and it should be here by June 14. The start capacitor kit is temporary out of stock. Is that something that can be installed after the installation of the new A/C when the kit becomes available? I would like to install my A/C unit upon arrival. Thanks

Hi Bill; yes, the Start Capacitor for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners # ACMSCKIT can be installed at a later time. It is perfectly acceptable to install your # ACM150 and then add the capacitor whenever you receive it.

Hey Bill, how did the installation of your ACM150 go while waiting for the start capacitor kit? Your update could make it easier for others planning to add the capacitor later.
