What is Quietest and Lowest Drawing RV AC Unit

Question:
What roof top AC unit has the lowest amp draw on low, with the compressor and fan running, and what is that value.? Also, what is the sound level at that setting? Thank you Jack

Hey Jack, the Furrion Chill HE RV unit like the part # FR52PR is going to be your best solution. It is the quietest and draws the lowest amount of power at 11.2 amps compared to most similar options that are around 15. We've tested all of the units we carry and found that the Furrions were the quietest.

Hi Jameson, Just to validate is the 11.2 amps measured while testing? It appears that RV units are not keeping up with the rest of the industry with efficiency improvements, and we are obviously some of the most energy aware customers. Big batteries cost and weigh a lot. Thanks for any additional information you may provide us. Including any new products that are coming out. Jack
