Troubleshooting Curt Wiring Ground Connection on a 2015 Audi Q5

Question:
The installation was straightforward, but I cant seem to get it to work. I think its due to how Im grounding the negative cable. Like the previous posters, I had to put the module on the drivers side, next to the air compressor, and the grounding cable connected to one of the screws holding the amp? its painted blue, maybe I need to scuff the blue off or its aluminum. Thanks.

Hey RJ, thanks for reaching out about installing the Curt Wiring # C56404 on your 2015 Audi Q5!
You are right on the money about the ground. It needs to be securely connected to a clean, bare-metal surface on your vehicle. This kit comes with a self-tapping screw so what we typically do is find a metal spot to install that screw to.
