Does The Curt Front Mount Hitch 31540 Require Tow Hook Removal?

Question:
I have front tow hooks installed . Do I have to remove them to install this winch mount? Does use different holes on the frame than the tow hooks ?

Hello Adam. According to Curt, Front Mount Trailer Hitch # 31540 will work with the OEM tow hooks. So, they can remain on the vehicle with the hitch installed. I have linked the manufacturer instructions for you below and as you will see, there is no mention of tow hook removal.
