I'm actually not too sure about that, Mike. I do know that the weight ratings for the Custom Fit Roof Rack Kit # IN99XR are the dynamic rating meaning while the vehicle is in motion.

When the vehicle is stationary these ratings easily double or triple because the weight will be resting over a station axle.
