I also have a 2022 GTI and looking for a hitch that provides good ground clearance for a bike rack. Is the above answer still true? I’m submitting this question on 5/22/24. I don’t see a date for the original question. I see the: the 1-1/4" Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver confirmed for the 22 GTI. I would like to know if there are more confirmed options. Def interested in the stealth bc of the removable receiver. Thanks

We do now have the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH75SR which is confirmed to fit your 2022 VW GTI. This will have the removable 2" receiver opening.

Follow up question on the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH75SR. Is there any trimming of rear fascia or bumper required to install on a 2022 VW GTI?
