Can CargoBuckle G3 Retractable Ratchet Tie-Down Strap Pull In at an Angle

Can this unit pull at a bit of an angle. If I install to either side front of a motorcycle and hook to the handle bars, the straps will tend to pull slightly off center.

CargoBuckle G3 Retractable Ratchet Tie-Down Strap # IMF18804 is going to behave like just about any ratchet strap. This means that if the strap is coming in at an angle the strap could fold over on itself. A slight angle may not be a problem but the higher the angle degree the more likely it will fold over.
You may be interested in a the motorcycle assist straps, # 06303. These will allow you to secure a strap to the handle bars while avoiding damage that could occur from a coated hook or bungee.
You may also want to consider a chock you can mount to the floor, such as # RA-17. This will help hold the bike straight so it is more stable and easier to tie down.
