Does Replacement Converter Section PD4045CSV Have a Transfer Switch

Question:

I got this converter section to update the conversion section in my Magnetek 6345 converter. Magnetek had a relay to disconnect the battery and switch the battery over to the charger when AC is available I did not realize that when I purchased the new part. It appears that the PD4045CSV is designed to let the battery ride along when it is supplying power to the RV 12V system. Is this correct? I looked at the pictures of the DC fuse board that comes with the more complete replacement section and the only thing it appears to have is the additional fuses to protect in event of a reverse battery connection. I can either add this into my solution or trust in the fact that there is already a fuse in the battery lead which would accomplish the same end.

The Replacement Converter Section # PD4045CSV is designed to work with the Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series Mini RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard and AC/DC Distribution Panel # PD4045KA which stays connected to the batter the whole time. It does not include a transfer switch if that's what you're asking.
