Replacement Converter for PD4045CS to Allow Use with Lithium Battery

Question:

I am considering updating the Progressive Dynamics Converter model no: PD4045CS to possibly use Lithium Ion batteries. I used your cross reference and came up with your model PD4135K. In reading just below the features and specs under Replacement Cross-Reference it shows WFCO WF-8735. Would you please explain and check my results? Im not an electrician so Im a bit concerned about correctly replacing the unit although it looks like there is only 8 wires that need to be connected. How do I know which wire from your converter to connect to the correct wire in the trailer? Can I also call you to question or get answers about installation or whats the protocol? Thank you

If you replace your PD4045CS with the part # PD4045CSV you'd have ability to switch between lead acid and lithium battery types like you are wanting to. I attached a link to a page that has wiring diagrams for you to check out as well. This comes with instructions too.
