Replacing Black Water Tank Sensors

Question:

2017 Thor Ace 30.2 with a Midwest Rotational Molder 28 gal. tank I want to install the Horst Miracle Probe Sensors but my sensors are installed on the side of the tank with little clearance almost impossible to get to. The end of the tank is easy to get to where the drain is located. So I was thinking of installing them there only 2 the full and 2/3 cutting the wires on old probe and splicing wires to the new ones. It has a tank made by Midwest Rotational Molder . Do see anything wrong with doing it like this? I have used sensor cleaner but they are so inaccurate I want to replace them. Thanks

You do not have to replace your sensors directly, but at the least you are going to want to install the Horst Miracle Probe Sensors # T21301VP next to your old sensors. They are positioned in a way that allows the reading to be as accurate as possible.
