Does Erickson Horizontal E Track Have to Be In-Line With ATV Tires
Published 05/02/2024 >
Question:
Im installing e tracks on a trailer for atvs. I was wondering about direction of pull. If Im not having the track run right under my atv wheels, can I pull off the tracks at 45 degree or so angle? For instance my trailer is 8 feet wide, if I have 2 horizontal tracks at each side and an atv in the middle, would I be okay to tie down to the track?

Hey Kevin, thanks for reaching out!
The Erickson Horizontal E Track # E19148 doesn't have to be placed directly under the tires, but the straps at an angle will put more stress on them so you'll want to make sure they are rated a bit over your ATVs to ensure safe towing.
