Troubleshooting A Triangle With An Exclamation Point Error Code Symbol On An Air Lift Compressor
Updated 05/02/2024 | Published 05/01/2024 >
Question:
Daughter was driving my pickup with the air lift system and a triangle with Exclamation mark came on the remote and the compressor started. She never even pressed any buttons on the remote. I honestly do not know what model I have. Glens welding here in bismarck nd had sold it to me and did the installation. I cant seem to find the paperwork to check this out.

Hi Robby,
The remote for your Air Lift air spring suspension kit is likely just warning you that the psi got below 5psi and that's why the compressor kicked on to air the springs back up below the minimum threshold. If you saw any kind of error code number after the triangle/exclamation point symbol we could narrow down exactly what the issue was, but with the compressor kicking on I'd be willing to bet the springs were just low. If you look at the compress there should be a sticker somewhere on it that lists the part/serial number and we could look up what you have.
I'd take a spray bottle with some soapy water and spray the fittings and lines to check for any leaks and fixed accordingly. You can also test the voltage running to the compressor to see if you're getting a full 12 volts. If you have any other issues with the system or the compressor isn't wanting to run on command then let me know and we can keep troubleshooting.
