Availability of Soft Start RV Air Conditioner

Question:
Is there such a thing as a soft start RV A/C unit? Im assuming its an A/C unit that has a lower draw on startup

There are some companies working on AC units that have this built in but they haven't been released at this time and I don't know when they will finish development. What you can do is add the SoftStartRV Soft Start for Single Zone Air Conditioner Setup # SSR54FR. This works with any AC unit and reduces the power needed to start so you can get by with something like a small generator.
