Question:

2022 newmar dutchstar 3709 towing a 2021 Lincoln nautilus and a bike carrier. We use the roadmaster tow system with a double hitch so we can carry our e-bikes in between the coach and the car. Will this system fit the double hitch with the bike rack attached to the upper hitch? There is approx 4 inches between the 2 hitch openings.

Thanks for the picture and all of the information! The Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screen item # RM-4700 you were looking at only works with Roadmaster Crossbar Style Base Plates like item # RM24RR that fits your 2021 Lincoln Nautilus.

If you are using the Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit item # RM57RR you will need the Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screen for Towed Vehicles item # RM-4750 instead. I can't tell from the picture which one you're using.

Whichever protective screen you do end up going with you'll need to replace your dual hitch adapter. The Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver item # RM-077-8 separates the receivers 8" from bottom edge to top edge giving you room to attach the screen. Yours is going to be too small.
