Question:
Hi, I have a 2014 Palomino puma fifth wheel camper. I was looking for ways to smooth out the ride on the camper and ran across the Timbren silent ride and the roadmaster comfort ride. My first question is, which of these systems would produce a smoother ride? Second, do either one of these products lift the camper any? I need the camper lifted a little actually as I drag in campground dips/creek crossings. Lastly, is there any other product besides these two that would be better than the two I found? Thanks!

The Roadmaster Comfort RIde Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shocks is going to give you the better ride between the two and is the best option available. The Silent Ride is a nice upgrade but it is not as comprehensive as the Roadmaster. It also doesn't have the same limited lifetime warranty that comes with the Comfort Ride. Neither of these are designed to lift your trailer.
If you have an underslung axle (leaf springs running under the axle) you can flip the axle using # K71-384-00 (2-3/8" diameter axle) or # K71-385-00 (3" diameter axle). These kits will lift the trailer by the diameter of the axle plus the height of the leaf spring stack. If the leaf springs are already on top of the axle you can cut off your hangers and weld stock steel to the frame to raise the trailer.
The correct Roadmaster Comfort Ride system will depend on your axle diameter and capacity. You can choose from the following:
-Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shocks - Tandem 3.5K Trailer Axles # RM82MR
-Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shocks - Tandem 5K Trailer Axles # RM-2460-2560
-Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shocks - Tandem 7K Trailer Axles # RM-2460-2570
-Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shocks - Tandem 8K, 3" Trailer Axles # RM-2460-2580
-Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shocks - Tandem 8K, 3-1/2" Axles # RM-2470-2580
