Will RoadmasterComfort Ride Kit Fit 2" Tube Attached to Frame on 2016 Keystone Outback 278URL

Question:
Im looking for the roadmaster comfort ride slipper spring suspension system. My travel trailer is 2016 keystone outback 278 url. The gvwr is 7590 lbs and it has two 3500 lbs axles. The hangers are welded on a 2 inch square tube that is welded under the i-beam frame. My concern is about the main piece that will be attached to the center hanger. It seems too large to be bolted on the 2 inch square tube.

The 2" tube attached to the frame of your 2016 Keystone Outback 278URL won't present a problem for installation of the # RM82MR. Sometimes this is added to raise up the body. According to Roadmaster, since you have that tube in place you can use through bolts instead of the self tapping screws to install the center hanger box. This will add additional stability. However, this isn't required and using the self tapping screws is perfectly fine.
