Question:

I am looking for an air ride king pin for my 2016 Attitude Toy Hauler. The current king pin is a Lippert 1116.

Hey Scot, since your 2016 Attitude has a Lippert 1116 style pin box the air ride pin box you'd want is the Trailair part # LC155943. This will make a huge improvement in the ride quality so you'll really like it.

What would the advantage and disadvantage of going with a 1716 version. I see that it would set the trailer approx 6" further back.

@ScotS Aside from the lengths the 1116 and 1716 pin boxes are the same. The 1716 is a long pin box and the 1116 is a medium that is 6 inches less in length. So I would not recommend going with a longer pin box than what the frame was designed for as that in theory would put more stress on the chassis due to the additional leverage.
