Suspension Replacement For A 1987 Arrowtown Trailer
Updated 03/29/2024 | Published 03/18/2024 >
Question:
I have an Arrowtow trailer that is from 1987. These were amazing aluminum trailers imported from South Africa and sadly no longer on the market. Notice that lack of an axel and rather some type of interesting suspension system. I assume that these are rubber on the inside of these? I wonder if they should be replaced? My assumption if they are rubber on the inside, they could be rotting and weakening and could be a risk to take these on the road. Do you know what they are internally? And if they have any replacements out there? I really only use this trailer for storage at this time, but if I ever put on the road, I would have for the internal rubber to snap. Awesome trailer and unfortunate they are no longer being sold. Thanks. Trying to attach the picture

The Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension # ASR35HDS01 does have one of their rubber jounce springs installed to cushion the suspension. I'm definitely curious to see some pictures of what you currently have to see if we have a solution for you. If you want to email me back those photos I can take a look and we can go from there.

I do have a good picture of the underside of the trailer. I tried to attach and it won't work. I tried to snip, copy and paste. That does not work either. Not sure how to get it to you. jon
