PSI Rating of MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting - POL Valve - 2 Model 250 Quick-Disconnect Ports
Published 03/15/2024 >
Question:
Got my Stugi-Stay #250 quick, thanks. BUT: unwrapping the instructions from the blue plugs noticed that the connection and valves are only rated for 1/2 psi, yet the device is supposed to be hooked up to the RV or auxiliary propane tanks that are around 125psi. Now what?

You can use the # 103538-MBS with your setup. The T-fitting is rated for 250 psi and the hose is rated for 350 psi so there won't be an issue with the 125 psi from your propane tanks. MB Sturgis has high and low pressure systems and that 1/2 psi tag has something to do with their low pressure system. It isn't actually a rating for the parts you have they just don't bother to take it off when they put together the # 103538-MBS.
