Should Equaflex Trailer Equalizer with Dry Rotted Rubber Springs be Replaced

Question:
Hi there. My camper is ten years old. I have the Lippert Equa Flex on now. Do think they would need replacing. ? I was looking at the ones that have grease fittings on. What ones would I need. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have two axles. The camper is a forest river toyhauler 42 foot.

Hey Joe, it does look like the EquaFlex equalizers you have are a bit older and the rubber spring is dry rotting and probably not really effective. Just looking at the pictures it looks like what you need is the part # LC145546 but I would recommend measuring your equalizer to be sure and compare to the picture I attached.
If you wanted to try a different cushioned equalizer let me know what dimensions you have and I can give you some recommendations as well.
