I am assuming that you are speaking of the installation connector for a brake controller. It is located on top of the white box on the firewall behind the emergency brake pedal.
To install your brake controller, you will also need a Wiring Adapter, part # 3020-P.
If your truck isn't equipped with the factory 7-way trailer connector, the plug might not be present. If the connector is not there, you'll need to hardwire the controller using our brake controller installation kit, part # ETBC7. If you don't have a functional 4-pole flat trailer connector, you'll need to install one using part # 118329.
I've linked you to our FAQ article showing how to install a controller on a Dodge Ram pickup. I've also linked you to an install video.
