Welcome back Peter! For your 2024 Volkswagen Jetta GLI with dual exhaust the correct hitch is the Draw-Tite item # 24978. This hitch is the only one that fits the GLI's with dual exhaust. It mounts behind your rear bumper cover instead of below your car to avoid the dual exhaust.

The Draw-Tite item # 24978 is a class I hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver. It has a 2,000 lbs towing capacity and a 200 lbs maximum tongue weight. I have linked an installation video below so you can see how to get it set up.

The Curt Hitch item # C11540 you were looking at does not fit the dual exhaust models.
