Question:
I am planning a suspension up grade to our 2017 grand design, reflection 29RS. The Lippert axel states 5200#. It currently has 4 leaf, leaf springs. I would like to up grade a little to reduce some of the road bouncing. Would a 5 or 6 leaf spring work? What is your opinion? And what is the part number on your web sight. I will go with the heavy duty shackle kit and road armor equalizer. Thank you

Hey Tom, so going with a different leaf spring that has a different amount of leaves will not change the bouncing you mentioned. The best way to stop that would be to add shocks to the suspension which will slow down the up and down movement.
Now with that said the absolute best solution would be the Roadmaster Comfort Ride system part # RM-2460-2560. This replaces the entire suspension setup and will give the trailer essentially vehicle suspension that will be much smoother and won't bounce like what you described. This setup was designed to replace 5,200 lb axle suspension so it would be perfect.
