Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at these Mountain Rock Universal Frame Extension Z Brackets. These adapter plates are designed to allow you to properly mount your heavy hauler RV bumper if your RV body extends to the bottom of your frame. These adapter plates will bolt onto your RV frame with the included hardware. That is gonna require a little bit of drilling, but then these will firmly attach to the RV frame and then they provide the lower attachment point for your mounting brackets that come with your heavy hauler RV bumper. These will extend past your RV's body.
The flanges and other frame obstructions so that you can install those bumper brackets properly. These are designed to be used with the Heavy Hauler RV Bumper Replacement Kits that you see on the screen there. So if you have any of those, you can trust these are going to work for you and because they are from Mountain Lock as well, so don't have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. These are made here in the USA of a durable steel construction. You can see they've got a black powder coat finish on them to resist rust and corrosion and just give you a few overall dimensions here.
You can see these are approximately 11 inches long by about seven and a quarter of an inch tall. The offset they're going to provide is about two and a half inches. Then if we measure from the top mounting hole for the brackets and the top mounting hole on our frame here, you can see it's going to provide about four inches, center to center of drop there. So it's going to give us about four inches of drop and two and a half inches of offset so that we can clear those obstructions. You are going to get these two plates, so mounting hardware and some instructions to walk you through the simple installation process to make sure that your bumper is installed properly.
That concludes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
