Question:

I have a 2014 Honda CRV with navigation. I intend to flat tow behind a Class A RV. I am going to purchase the Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass Switch for Towed Vehicle # RM76511. My question is that when I bypass the fuse, the accessory plug that I plug my RVi brake system into has no power. I have not tried it yet, but I am going to pull the fuse and see if the accessory in the center console works. If yes, then I will do that. The car has two accessory plugs. It appears the fuse under the dash works one and the fuse under the hood works the other. The Seller told me he has this same issue. He said did not pull the fuse under the dash. He pulled fuses 28 and 29 under the hood. Let me know if you have any thoughts.

Great question Ron, I actually did some digging around on this and it turns out the the fuse identified to be pulled in the owner's manual is the incorrect fuse.

The correct fuse would be fuse "16" located in the interior fuse box under the dash. which is a 7.5A accessory fuse. So, you should not be pulling any fuses under the hood. I've highlighted the correct fuse to pull for you to check out as well.

Along with the FuseMaster # RM76511 you're also going to need a base plate # RM-521567-5, a tow bar # RM-676, a braking system # BLU37TR with the 12V outlet kit # RM-9332, and a wiring harness # RM-15267.
