How Landing Gear Jacks are Connected to Fifth Wheel

Question:
When these landing gears are installed. How are they plumbed up in a fifth wheel trailer. Is it the tube that slides inside each other. thank you

The outer tube of the landing gear is attached to the fifth wheel frame via some frame clamps. The clamps themselves are usually welded to the trailer frame, and bolted clamps hold the outer jack tube in place. The inner tube of the jack will extend and retract, raising and lowering the front of the fifth wheel. The diagram I provided might make it a bit more clear for you.
