Recommended Trailer Hitch for a 2021 BMW X5 for Kuat 4 BIke Rack

Question:

We also have a 2021 bmw x5. To put a hitch that can carry our Kuat 4 bikes tray - is that complicated. I read that there are a lot of wiring and re wiring involved since the car is too equipped with sensors. Ps - where are you guys located? Thank You soo much. Lynn

It's not complicated at all to use your Kuat 4 Bike Rack with your BMW X5, you're just going to need at least a class III hitch like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C85VV.

I'm not going to sit here and tell you that it's an easy job to put the hitch on, because it is going to require you to do some trimming, loosen/remove the fascia/some underbody panels, and temporarily remove the bumper, which isn't exactly simple - especially if you're not super mechanically inclined.

That being said, I'd highly recommend just taking to a professional it'll be much easier that way. If you're interested we actually have a pretty cool tool for that; it's the "Installer Locator".
