Recommended replacement for 13.5k GE RV A/C unit? Unit is new and GE not helpful. First failed in October, replaced it with new cooling unit that failed today. Looks like they loosing charge, compressor running but amp draw/cooling is fading.

We recommend the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner # ACM135 to replace the GE 13.5K RV AC unit. The advent unit has the same 13.5K BTU rating. You will also need a new distribution box and/or thermostat. You can use # ACDB for manual control or the # ACRG15 which comes with a wall mounted thermostat.
Advent sells their start capacitor # ACMSCKIT separately, and we do recommend picking up one of those as well. You also have the option of adding a heat strip # ACMHD.
