Question:

Would you recommend this for our 35 ft diesel Newmar Ventana? We need something to drive in and out of our long driveway on a straight angle. Thanks

Ultra-Fab makes a few variations of these skid wheels but they don't recommend them for diesel motorhome's due to the extreme weight in the rear. You could still try using some skid wheels but there's a good chance you'll overload and break them. The # UF48-979017 skid wheels are designed to clamp onto a 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" square tube hitch, which would make them easier to install or swap out in the event that they break. If you don't have a trailer hitch this size then you'd need to go with a weld-on option like part # UF48-979023. I still want to stress that these aren't really recommended due to the weight they'd be taking on but it's still easier to replace a broken skid wheel over the other components that could be damaged on your motorhome.
