Solution to Adapt Fifth Wheel Hitch to Underbed Pucks of 2023 GMC Sierra 3500

My father is looking at a newer truck. His older truck used the industry standard rails. The new truck is a 2023 gmc sierrs 3500 denali. Are there legs that I cab bolt on in place of the rail mount legs to make this hitch work in his new truck or does he just need to buy a oem to rail adapter plate? Thanks

There are a select few fifth wheel hitches that have replacement leg kits that would adapt them to fit the OEM prep package of your Dad's 2023 GMC Sierra 3500 but I would need to know what hitch you guys have to be able to determine if that's available. Otherwise you'd need a rail kit adapter like the part # C88KR which works with basically any fifth wheel hitch designed for above bed rails except the Patriot slider hitch.
With that said, if the hitch he has is a Curt A or Q series the leg kit part # CU53FR you referenced would fit both it and the pucks of your truck.

The C16025 will not fit a 2023 model GM with factory puck system. It is designed to fit 2016-2019 only.
