Question:
I need to remove the Timbren springs and install them on another Suburban since this car has been wrecked. What is the best way to remove them? They are pressed in good and tight and I cannot get them to budge.

If you have Timbren springs # TGMRYS4 then they bolt into place. There are 2 parts to each of these springs. One part is the spring itself which should come off easily once you remove the bolt up in the center. The other part is a short cylinder that fits up in the factory bump stop cup. This is the part that is likely to be difficult to remove.
You may be able to put some soapy water in a spray bottle and try to spray it around the cylinder between it and the bump stop cup. This will help to pry it out with a long and thin flat screwdriver or other similar item.
