Curt Trailer Brake Controller Does Not Power On when Installed on a 2007 GMC Sierra Classic

i have hooked this up with the gm pig tail harness on a 2007 gmc sierra classic to the control box under dash but not getting power to controller have installed a 20a fuse under hood where red wire is.what am i missing?

There may actually be some additional connections that you will need to make under the hood. Take a look at the article I have linked that covers everything that you will need to do under the hood on your 2007 GMC Sierra Classic.
First make sure you are plugged into the spot in the junction box in the top row, second from the left. Then make sure you have all the connections and fuses in the correct locations. It seems strange but also make sure the fuse you are using is a good fuse and not blown!
Also make sure that you are using wiring harness # C51352 with your Curt controller.
If it still is not working then you may not have an active system and will need to hardwire in the controller using kit # 5506. I have included a some links that should help. You will not have to follow all of the steps, just the ones that apply to you.
