Question:

Hello, After reading many reviews on different hubs, Im certain you will be able to help me. I want to replace the hubs on the boat trailer. The boat is a 1994 Bayliner capri. Its a single axle trailer. I dont have a measuring tool and wonder if I might have to get one. Similar to many posts, my parts have never been changed out and part numbers are impossible to read. Im leaning towards one of these options: AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K or AKIHUB-545-2-G-EZ-2K. Thanks

Really it's going to boil down to which spindle type your Bayliner Capri has. The Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 3.5K Axles # AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K will work with 3,500-lb Dexter E-Z Lube and etrailer Easy Grease trailer axles with #84 spindles and wheels that are 13" to 15" - while the Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2K Axles # AKIHUB-545-2-G-EZ-2K will work with 2,000-lb Dexter E-Z Lube and etrailer Easy Grease trailer axles with BTR spindles and wheels that are 10" to 12".

You'll need to check out the image attached and use a set of caliper # PTW80157 and measure the seals and bearings ride. Once you have this information, you'll need to verify the bolt pattern as well. The two hubs mentioned above have a 5 on 4 1/2 for reference.
