Can Generator Be Ran While Installed on MORryde RV Generator Slide Out Tray

Question:
Why does the MORyde Generator tray description state: Note: Do not run your generator while its sitting on this tray. Whats the point of the tray if you cant run the generator on the tray? I was all set to order until I noticed that. I do see comments in the reviews and the QandA that people seem to be running it anyway but Id like a clarification please.

I agree, that note doesn't make sense.
When I reached out to my contact at MORryde they said the MORryde RV Generator Slide Out Tray # MR79RR doesn't have a stopper for when the tray is in the fully opened position so you just need to make sure the tray stays slid out while the generator is running to avoid CO2 poisoning. Otherwise they could care less if the generator is left on the tray while it's being ran since it will be outside of the trailer cabin.
We'll take another look at that note, but you can definitively still operate your generator while it's on the slide out.
