electric trailer jack for utility trailer. can the power wire be wired to the truck plug ? no trailer battery

Yes, you can add a plug like the Pollak # PK12706 to the Stromberg Carlson Electric A-Frame Tongue Jack # JET-2500 to power it by the 7-Way socket on your truck.
We also have this same type of setup ready to go with the Electric Jack w/ Footplate and 7-Way Plug # EJ-3527-BBX. I like this option a little more than what you're looking at because it comes with he 7-Way already installed and has a greater weight capacity at 3,500 lbs as opposed to 2,500 lbs that the Stromberg Carlson has.
