What Kind Of Safety Cables Are Included With The Blue Ox Base Plate BLU37UR

Hello I have a question about this Blue ox base plate BLU37UR for the 2023 F-250. In the picture is shows a pair of cables. Does that mean this base plate includes the safety cables that go with the tow bar? if not what tow bar safety cable do you recommend? Thank you

Good question. The Blue Ox Base Plate # BLU37UR for the 2023 Ford F-250 does indeed come with a pair of cables. These cables are actually part of the installation hardware, and are not the tow bar safety cables. The included cables are called "permanent safety cables" and are used to help secure the base plate to the frame of the vehicle. You can see this in step 5 of the instructions which is pictured below.
If you are in need of a pair of safety cables to go with your tow bar, I recommend the Blue Ox 7' Safety Cables # BX88197.
