Question:
Hi, I like to use E Tracks instead of D Rings. I have a car tow dolly that has about 3inch room on each side to hook my strap on to it. I like to use E track. Is there an E Track that short that can be installed on a 3inch x 3inch surface without compromising its strength? Can a regular E Track be cut short to fit in that area?

Expert Reply:
There is actually a single E-Track anchor, # SLSB. Once installed you can then use tie-down # SLARI. Or you can use other E-Track accessories.
You can cut down a regular piece of E-Track but it is an extra expense and work that isn't necessary since the single E-Track is available.
