Question:
I have an enclosed trailer and want to mount your E Track system in my floor, so my question is.. do I need to mount the backing plates underneath my trailer floor or will 1/2 inch screws every other hole be good enough? I will be securing a SideXSide most of the time with this system. CanAm Maverick Thank you! Product looks great by the way!

Backing plates, like the etrailer Backing Plate #e96RR, are always a good idea. Using bolts and backing plates will provide a more secure installation of the Erickson E-Track. You will want to use 4 bolts per backing plate.
If you do decide to use screws, I would go with longer 1 inch screws. You will want to ensure that the screws go deep enough into the wood floor of the trailer.
I have attached a review and installation video of the # E19148 E-Track system for you to have an ideal of installation.
