I want to install the Blue Ox version base plate kit on my 2023 F-150 so I can flat tow it. Will I need to remove the tow hooks for this?

The tow hooks on your 2023 Ford F-150 will need to be removed for installing the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU33FR, and they won't be reinstalled due to where the base plate kit sits on your truck frame. This is the case for all of the base plate kits that fit your truck.

I've attached an installation video of this kit on a 2022 F-150 as well as a photo of what the end result will look like when you're done for your reference!

For a complete flat towing setup you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. If you do not have all of these components just let me know and I can make some additional recommendations for you.
