How to Cut Down on Zippered Cover for Lend-a-Hand RV Grab Handle Getting Hot

Question:

I am interested in Zippered Cover for Lend-a-Hand RV Grab Handles - Tan Item # SC83VR as our grab handle gets very hot. ??. Couldn’t find any info about cutting down the heat on the handle. Would appreciate any info.

Since the Zippered Cover for Lend-a-Hand RV Grab Handles # SC83VR is tan instead of the original black it will naturally run a little cooler than your original black foam handle.

With that being said, if you don't have any shade on the handle and you're in a really hot climate you'll want to either look for a white handle cover (which we don't have), or maybe try covering your handle up with something like a white towel while you're away to help mitigate the amount of sun that's beating down on the handle.
