The Race Ramps Side Kick ramp can be used to help change a tandem axle trailer tire or safely guide your vehicle onto a trailer. It has a 13 degree angle of approach. The heavy-duty, foam ramp has a weight capacity of 1,500 lbs. A textured coating keeps the ramp from skidding when you drive up on it and protects it from water and automotive fluids.
Use the ramp configuration to lift your tandem axle trailer 7.5" off the ground. This allows you to easily perform a tire change. By driving the non-flat tire onto the ramp, you can raise the flat tire for servicing. It also eliminates the need for heavy jacks and cumbersome jackstands.
Use the ramp in the guide configuration to protect your vehicle from scratches and dents while loading into a trailer. Simply flip the ramp on its side and place it against the trailer's wheel well. This provides a protective buffer between your vehicle's tire and the trailer's wheel well. The Side Kick also comes with a spotter flag you can place in the ramp to assist with loading.
This ramp is made of ultra-strong, solid core, high-density EPS foam that won't crack or bounce. It supports 1,500 lbs. The ramp is lightweight, weighing no more than 8 pounds, so you can transport and store it with ease.
The ramp is covered with a textured coating and is flat on one side. This keeps it from skidding when you drive up on it. The coating is a hybrid polyurea compound that is resistant to water and other automotive chemicals commonly found around the garage. And although this coating is durable, it will not scratch, mark, or scrape your garage floor or the ground.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Race Ramps Trailer Sidekick. Now this sidekick ramp is going to let you change a tandem axle trailer tire, or safely guide your vehicle into a trailer. The ramp configuration is going to give you a 7.5 inch lift to help you safely change a tandem axle trailer tire. And just kind of give you an idea of what that is going to look like, on your screen, I'm including a photo there showing this in action. So as you can see, this person has just rolled up the the good tire and wheel assembly up on the ramp and that is giving him enough room and clearance to take off that flat tire and wheel assembly.
And so it's gonna give you room there to change it. So this is going to be able to replace heavy jacks and cumbersome jack stands. This is going to work with vehicles that have tires up to 10 inches wide and as you can see stamped here on the bottom, this has a maximum weight capacity of 1500 pounds. Then you can also use this in a guide configuration. You set it up on its side like this and that's gonna help protect your vehicle against scratches and dents while loading onto a trailer.
So you'll just flip the ramp like this on its side and then that'll prevent you from accidentally scratching up anything while you're loading it up on, loading your vehicle up, for instance, on a trailer. Now let me give you some overall measurements just to kind of give you a good idea of the size. So giving you what I'm calling the length here. As you can see, we're sitting pretty close to 31 inches long and then the width, we turn it like this and come around here so I can see as well, lemme bring that into frame a little bit more. The width, we're sitting right at 12 inches.
And by the way, while we're here, I wanna point out there is a strap here so it'll make transport very easy. Just grab onto it and it'll be good to go. Then lemme give you the height, so we're pretty close to seven and a half, eight inches or so. So hopefully that gives you a good idea of the size. Now this is made here in the USA, as you can see, stamped here on the bottom.
So this is made of ultra strong high density EPS foam. This is going to ensure durability and stability. The solid core foam won't bounce or crack and this is really lightweight, maybe about eight pounds or so. So it's gonna be very easy to use, very easy to transport and store. Again, the strap is a nice addition to this and then hopefully you can see this has a textured coating that's going to prevent these ramps from slipping or sliding. They're gonna resist water and automotive fluids. This won't scratch or markup or scrape your floor. So you are going to get this one ramp. We have a mobility challenged 89 year old living with us who needs to shower sitting in a bathing wheel chair. We have a very long shower perfect for building a platform and a ramp to get over a 7 inch threshold. Your ramps fit perfectly. Thank you. Saved us thousands of $ in remodeling!
