2006 headache rack fits in my 2006 and on the future I want to change it on the 2012 Chevy Silverado

The bed width didn't change between the year models so you shouldn't have an issue with fitment on the 2012 model. If you have the Aries Classic Headache Rack # AA111000 that you were looking at then I can confirm that this will fit the 2012 Silverado.
