Will I need to charge the battery when flat towing a 2022 Ram 1500 Limited Semi?

I checked with Roadmaster and none of the many models of the 2022 Ram 1500 require a charge line to keep the battery from dying. You can always add one using the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit item # RM-156-25 if you're concerned about the possibility of a dead battery. We have had instances in the past where the supplemental braking system will drain the batteries of vehicles being flat towed over long distances.
Here are the parts you will need to flat tow a 2022 Ram 1500:
Tow Bar and Safety Chains - etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar item # e84ZR
Base Plate Kit - Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms item # RM-522203-5 this fits every model except for the TRX and Eco-Diesel. For those models you will need the item # RM74MR.
Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267
Supplemental Braking System - Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System w/ Wireless Coachlink item # DM26VR for air brakes or the Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System w/ Wireless Coachlink Monitor item # DM86VR for hydraulic brakes.
High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter.
